Jiri Pitrmuc received his MFA from the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague where he studied in the Intermedia studio (Pavla Scerankova, Dusan Zahoransky) between 2017 - 2020. Before that he studied at Faculty of artand design at JEPU in Performance studio of Jiri Kovanda (2013 - 2017). During his studies, he attended a study stay at the LUCA School of Arts in Brussels (Project studio) and at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague (Sculpture studio).
Recently, he grew more interested in activities related to the artistic practice itself. Since the beginning of 2023 he has been teaching and working as a studio assistant in Object—Space—Action studio at the Faculty of art and Design at JEPU and become a member of the Skutek association which tries to set fair conditions for cultural workers in Czechia.
